8 things

Thank you Carissa Crimson.  Know that my memory is long and there will come a day when I can exact my revenge *wicked cackle*!

So here’s the rundown:

“Eight Random Facts” meme.

Here are the rules:
(1) Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
(2) People who are tagged need to write a post on their own blog (about their eight things) and post these rules.
(3) At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
(4) Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

1. I’ve performed in a Superbowl Half-time show!  Used to perform in musical theater, too, but can not walk without tripping over my own feet or walking into stuff.
2. I’m a complete travel addict.  I’ve visited 13 other countries (not much by some standards, but a ton for me!).
3. I spent a semester abroad at the University of Innsbruck in Austria (see #2) and still can’t speak a word of German, hehe.
4. I’m terrified of spiders.  Don’t mind snakes or other creepy crawly things, but spiders creep the bee-geesus out of me.
5. I can’t swim underwater without holding my nose, yet am a certified advanced open-water SCUBA diver.
6. Both parents, 2 grandparents, 1 step dad and 2 aunts and uncles have fought (some lost) battles with cancer, which is why I support the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life, volunteering in RL for the last 10 years.
7. I own 62 pairs of shoes, including 8 pairs of boots.  Some people collect jewelry, others purses, I have a thing for shoes.  Again, you are talking to someone who has only 5 pair of jeans, so it’s a matter of perspective.
8. I am seriously allergic to cats, yet have a darling snowshoe Siamese who is the biggest brat on the planet.

My 8?  Seeing as that most everyone I know has been tagged, I’m picking people I think are A.  Interesting  B. Talented, or C.  I want to be nosy about!  Sparkle Skye, Zoey Pinkdot, Betty Doyle, Ravenlynn Templar, kaia Ennui, Janie Marlowe, Rach Snookums, and Evangeline Miles (who is fast and furiously working on creating a blog, btw, so she’ll love me for this….squeee!!).
